We are called to be the light of the world. Together we take the love, hope, and power of Jesus into every dark corner of our community and the nations.
"Carry the Light" is Joyful Sound Church's evangelism and outreach initiative — a call to every believer to step outside the four walls of the church and shine the light of Jesus Christ into their homes, neighbourhoods, workplaces, and the nations.
Based on the supernatural ministry vision of the church, we believe every believer is called and equipped to demonstrate the Kingdom of God through love, acts of service, signs, and the proclaimed Word.
Carrying the light means going where the darkness is greatest — and watching God transform lives by His power.

Light is carried in many ways. Here are some of the ways our church community shines for Jesus.
Taking the Gospel to the streets — sharing the love of Jesus with our neighbours through conversation, prayer, and the Word of God.
Practically demonstrating the love of Christ by feeding families in need in the Porter, Texas community and surrounding areas.
Bringing hope, prayer, and the presence of God into hospitals, care homes, and correctional facilities where light is needed most.
Supporting and sending missionaries to carry the Gospel to unreached peoples and nations around the world.
Ministering to students and educators in schools, bringing encouragement, mentorship, and the light of Christ into educational settings.
Small groups that meet in homes throughout the community — bringing the light of the Gospel right into neighbourhoods.
The instruction Jesus gave His church has not changed. We are still called to go, still empowered to do the works He did, and still responsible for making His name known to all nations.
